19th Annual Choreographer's Showcase

We wish to thank the New Mexico Dance Coalition for bringing the Showcase to the Railyard again this year. The dancers did a great job transporting the audience to an elevated plane of dance appreciation.

Our 20th Anniversary, Wedding that is

Elise and I had our 20th anniversary this past week and we were happy to share it with our friends at class. These pictures are a mix of some from last year and last week but are all from the Railyard archives. Our friend Fred Simpson had two great drum classes this weekend that were well attended and promoted by Nina Zelavanski. He will return in March for another series so stay tuned.

Some of the Railyard Drummers went over to Dan Pauli's Wild Marimbas Studio to play for New Years. George, Ramon, Hunter and I played with Dan's band Jaka and we all had a real good time. There weren't alot of people there but it felt like a genuine old time Santa Fe party. I knew most of the folks there and people like Jamie, Rachelle, and Alecia have been hanging with us for decades. Hope everyone has a great and prosperous new year. Eric

The Railyard Performance Center

We had a really great week. I got our new PA system working with a pair of sub-woofers that really kick. We had a chance to use them for Deollo Johnson's Urban Contemporary Dance Class on Friday night. He went through House, Hip-Hop, and did some Breaking and Popping as well. It was alot of fun but I could only dance for one of the 2 1/2 hours that he taught.
