Our friend Fred Simpson had two great drum classes this weekend that were well attended and promoted by Nina Zelavanski. George, Ramon, Hunter and I played with Dan's band Jaka and we all had a real good time. There weren't alot of people there but it felt like a genuine old time Santa Fe party. I knew most of the folks there and people like Jamie, Rachelle, and Alecia have been hanging with us for decades. Hope everyone has a great and prosperous new year. I got our new PA system working with a pair of sub-woofers that really kick. We had a chance to use them for Deollo Johnson's Urban Contemporary Dance Class on Friday night. He went through House, Hip-Hop, and did some Breaking and Popping as well.
